The Opportunity

A dynamic and business-oriented Group HR Head is required to lead the human resources function across a diverse and growing organisation. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic perspective while remaining hands-on in shaping culture, enabling leadership and aligning people development with business needs. The role is central to building a performance-driven and entrepreneurial culture, while ensuring HR acts as a true partner to the business rather than an administrative function.

Key Responsibilities 

Strategic HR Leadership

  • Partner with the executive leadership team to design and implement a people strategy that aligns with overall business goals.
  • Lead the HR function at a group level, embedding a culture of performance, accountability, agility, and ownership.

Talent Development & Culture

  • Drive initiatives to groom internal talent into more business-savvy, entrepreneurial leaders capable of driving outcomes.
  • Embed a mindset of ownership, innovation, and continuous development across the organisation.
  • Create and implement programs that enable individuals to step into larger, business-oriented roles with confidence and competence.
Business Partnership
  • Ensure HR actively partners with business units to address specific people needs, skill gaps, and team dynamics.
  • Align HR services and solutions with the operational realities and strategic goals of each business unit.
Leadership Enablement
  • Build the capability of business unit leaders to manage both business performance and people effectively - without excessive dependence on HR.
  • Provide coaching and tools that foster strong, independent leadership throughout the organisation.
Organisational Development & Change
  • Lead initiatives focused on building cost-effective, system-driven approaches to workforce planning and development.
  • Play a critical role in transforming work practices and behaviors to support scalable, efficient business growth.
Talent Acquisition
  • Oversee workforce planning and proactively source relevant talent in line with evolving business requirements.
  • Build and maintain an agile, high-quality recruitment process that supports both current and future organisational needs.

Ideal Candidate Profile 

  • Minimum 15 years of progressive HR leadership experience, including at least 5 years in a Group or Head of HR role.
  • Demonstrated success in transforming HR into a strategic business partner.
  • Strong experience in leadership development, change management and organisation design.
  • Background in entrepreneurial, industrial, or innovation-led environments preferred.
  • Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or related field.
