Job Description

WELL Labs is looking for a Human Resources Associate who will play a pivotal role in cultivating a supportive and inclusive work culture that reflects WELL Labs’ mission and values.

Job Responsibilities

Employee Lifecycle Management

  • Coordinate recruitment processes, including job postings, screening, and interview scheduling.
  • Facilitate on boarding and off boarding processes.
  • Maintain accurate dashboard, metrics, employee records and ensure compliance with data protection policies.
  • Create employee contracts and offers.

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Support benefits administration.
  • Maintain and update the HRIS and other documentation systems.
  • Maintain engagement with WELL Labs’ intern alumni network to support long-term connections and potential talent pipelines.
  • Support payroll coordination and monthly HR reports.
  • Monitor compliance updates and suggest policy adjustments as needed.

Learning & Development

  • Coordinate training sessions and track participation.
  • Support performance review cycles and feedback processes.
  • Identify development needs and propose relevant learning opportunities.

Culture & Engagement

  • Assist in implementing initiatives that promote staff well-being and inclusion.
  • Support internal communications and staff engagement events.
  • Act as a first point of contact for employee queries and concerns.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • 3–5 years of HR generalist experience, ideally in a non-profit or mission-driven setting.
  • Proficiency in HRIS (Zoho) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Desirable Attributes

  • Experience supporting remote and hybrid teams.
  • A values-driven mindset and a deep appreciation for equity and inclusion.
  • Ability to balance empathy with organisational needs.
  • Familiarity with basic employment laws, local language and HR best practices.
