Job Description

Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a SERB funded research project with the following details:

Project:  A Novel Lignin Reinforced Pullulan Bio-composite Film as Active Food Packaging Material

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• MTech in Biotechnology/ Biochemical Engineering/ Bioprocess Engineering/ Food Technology/ Life Sciences/ Chemical Sciences or any other related area

                                 (or)

• MSc degree in Biotechnology/ Life Sciences/ Chemical Sciences or any other related area and qualified GATE/ CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship), or any other National-level examination conducted by Central Govt. Departments and their agencies and Institutions such as DBT, DST, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, etc (need not be valid).

Desirable

• Experience in Biomaterials synthesis, Microbial assays, and Food testing

Salary

Rs. 31,000 + HRA as applicable
