Job Description

Invest India is the National Investment Promotion and Facilitation Agency under the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. It hosts teams working with various government initiatives such as Make in India, Startup India, AGNii, and PMG

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive strategies to monitor infrastructure projects and resolve issues across all states and UTs.
• Lead new workstreams with DPIIT and other ministries/departments to strengthen monitoring across the government of India
• Work closely with government officials and companies to monitor projects and understand issues being faced, to accelerate infrastructure development in the country
• Create periodic and automated analytics internally and for ministries to monitor the progress and streamline monitoring
• Analyze regulations, policies, industry reports, and company reports to provide insights and strategic recommendations to senior offices.
• Organise and run review meetings at PMO, Cabinet Secretariat, DPIIT and states.
• Manage regions and maintain working relationships with relevant state and central officials.
• Keep abreast with latest developments in the sector(s).
• Manage resources and teams’ day to day tasks.
• Conduct periodic spot assessments across the country to identify on ground issues and hold reviews with states.
• Support in strengthening the PMG Portal, growth of PMG portfolio and execute milestone based monitoring

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• Degree in engineering, business administration, policy, or a related field (Tier 1).
• Understanding of data required.
• Preference for Consulting workex
• Candidates with strong sense of ownership, analytical skills, problem solving skills and previous experience in handling resources will be preferred.
