Job Summary:

The M&E Manager will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the organization's monitoring and evaluation framework. The role involves ensuring data-driven decision-making, tracking program impact, and reporting on performance to enhance the effectiveness of projects and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Monitoring & Evaluation Strategy

• Develop and implement an M&E framework aligned with the organization’s goals.
• Establish performance indicators, data collection tools, and methodologies.
• Ensure M&E plans are integrated into project design and implementation.

2. Data Collection & Analysis

• Develop and oversee data collection methods, including surveys, field visits, and stakeholder interviews.
• Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to assess program outcomes and impact.
• Maintain an updated database of project performance metrics.

3. Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare periodic reports for internal and external stakeholders, including donors and partners.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to inform decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with reporting requirements and deadlines.

4. Capacity Building & Learning

• Train staff on M&E best practices, tools, and methodologies.
• Facilitate learning sessions to improve program effectiveness and knowledge sharing.
• Promote a culture of evidence-based decision-making within the organization.

5. Stakeholder Engagement

• Collaborate with program teams and beneficiaries to ensure participatory M&E.
• Support donor reporting and compliance with M&E requirements.
• Represent the organization in M&E-related meetings, workshops, and networks.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in M&E, Statistics, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or a related field.
• Minimum 6-8 years of experience in M&E, preferably in the [sector, e.g.,CSR, NGO, development, healthcare, education].
• Strong analytical and data management skills.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple tasks effectively.
