About the Organization

Vipla Foundation (registered as Save The Children India) is an Indian NGO Founded in the year 1988 by Late Mrs. Vipula Kadri. Vipla Foundation is on a mission to ensure that nothing stops children of India from Learning, Growing and Flourishing. The organisation has its community interventions based on pillars of Early Interventions and System Strengthening. It recognises that early interventions are critical in improving the quality of lives of our programme participants particularly those who come from marginalised and excluded communities. Vipla foundation continues to train, capacitate systemic stakeholders and policy advocates for internalising and institutionalising the best practises.

Job Description

• Identify, do due diligence and on-board employers with Beauty sector and BPO, Retail, BFSI and IT sector.
• Generate adequate lead for training provision and placement of trained candidates in a year.
• Build strong relationships with employers and training partners ensuring effective referral,
• placement and monitoring systems are in place for youth.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for achieving the desired target number of successful candidates’ placement.
• Create partnerships with employers who can offer candidates potential job placements, work experience and workplace visit opportunities.
• Arrange for industrial Visits.
• Create and follow clear referral processes with employers.
• Monitor youth’s performance with organizations and employers.
• Support trained candidates after their placements to ensure that they retain their engagement and sustain themselves in work or training for up to 6 months.
• Undertake data collection and reporting duties that demonstrate the effectiveness of the programme.
• Act as a role model at all times demonstrating behavior that displays the characteristics candidates should develop to be successful in their chosen field.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• Relevant degree or similar professional qualification from a reputed institution (Minimum
• qualification is graduation).
• Minimum 2 years of experience.
• Knowledge of local employers and skilling providers.
• Knowledge of candidates needs with regard to progressions into training and work.
• Experience of partnership working including referrals and monitoring partner delivery.
• Experience of either employability skills, job placement, youth development or vocational
• training programmes either directly or indirectly.
• Experience of BPO retails will be preferred.

Qualification and Experience

• She/he should have good communication skill (both oral and writing) in English and Hindi.
• Working Knowledge of Marathi. Operational proficiency in Internet, MS Office etc.

• Strong partnership building credentials with ability to tailor style and methods when working with employers and specialist organizations.
• Excellent team worker with strong oral and written communication skills including good level of professional English.
• Can-do attitude and willingness to use own initiative to solve ground level problems
• Well organized working style with excellent time management skills.
• Ability to collect and process delivery evidence and data in line with key performance indicators for the programme
