Job Description

Implementation of project activities as per the objectives, coordination of teams in multiple field sites, liaise with local administration, Data collection/analysis GIS assistance to the team, Report writing

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• Four Years Bachelor’s Degree Degree (4 year B.Sc. degree as per National Education Policy) in Natural Sciences (Wildlife Science/ Zoology/ Ecology/ Marine Sciences / Marine Biology/ Environmental Sciences/ Geoinformatics/ Life Sciences)/ Agricultural/ Forestry Sciences from recognized institute/ University

                                OR

• Master’s Degree in Natural Sciences (Wildlife Science/ Zoology/ Ecology/ Marine Sciences / Marine Biology/ Environmental Sciences/ Geoinformatics/ Life Sciences)/ Agricultural Sciences from recognized institute/ University

Desirable Qualification(s)

• Candidates with prior experience in the Field of Remote sensing and GIS on Ecological Projects, Demonstrated experience/aptitude in a) Wildlife, ecology research, b) statistical analysis and spatial ecological modelling in R, c) project design and coordination of multi-disciplinary project team and field data collection d) research publications in peer-reviewed national/ international journals

Salary

37,000 + HRA (NET or GATE qualified candidates or selection process through national level examinations) 30,000 + HRA (For non-NET or non-GATE qualified candidates)
