Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII) in partnership with Higher Education Department, Government of Uttarakhand invites applications for the post of Project Manager-Implementation & Impact for Dehradun:
Position: Project Manager – Implementation & Impact
Job Location: Dehradun
Objective of the Role:
To strengthen the design, implementation, and measurable impact of the Devbhoomi Udyamita Yojana by ensuring high-quality program delivery, data-driven monitoring and evaluation, institutional capacity-building, and effective stakeholder coordination. The role will emphasize integration of digital tools, AI-based insights, and performance tracking for continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Program Management & Coordination:
- Lead and coordinate implementation of DUY components across institutions (boot camps, EDPs, CoEs, seed funds, mentoring, etc.)
- Serve as nodal liaison between EDII, faculty mentors, student entrepreneurs, college administrators, and the Higher Education Department
- Support planning and execution of outreach, communication, and innovation events
2. Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E):
- Develop and operationalize a robust M&E framework including KPIs, output/outcome indicators, institution-wise tracking
- Build and manage real-time MIS/dashboards for capturing participation, performance, and enterprise data
- Ensure regular field validation, reporting compliance, and impact documentation
3. Data & Digital Enablement:
- Integrate AI and data tools (Excel, Power BI, Python, SQL, ChatGPT/OpenAI, etc.) to automate analysis, generate insights, and enhance reporting
- Introduce chatbot support or AI workflows for grievance redressal, training feedback, and student engagement
- Drive adoption of Udyam Aadhar, PAN, FSSAI, and other registration linkages digitally across student enterprises
4. Capacity Building & Institutional Strengthening:
- Monitor and support DUY Centres of Excellence; build capacity of faculty mentors and institutional coordinators
- Organize workshops, review meetings, and peer learning forums
- Facilitate knowledge sharing, SOPs, and policy inputs for program evolution
5. Enterprise Support & Stakeholder Integration:
- Support enterprise journey of students from ideation to market readiness
- Establish linkages with Startup Uttarakhand, MSME, Skill India, CSR incubators, and financial institutions
- Document and scale success stories, innovations, and employment outcomes

Postgraduate (Master’s degree) in Development Management, Social Entrepreneurship, Public Policy, Rural Management, MBA/PGDM (with relevant focus) |

Bachelor’s degree in STEM, Economics, Commerce, or Social Sciences from reputed institutions (e.g. IIT/NIT/BITS/IISER/DSE/IIM-IPM/IRMA/NLUs) with a demonstrated track record of analytical problem-solving and leadership experience |

Certifications or coursework in: AI/ML, Data Analytics, Monitoring & Evaluation, Project Management (PMP/PRINCE2), Public Systems |
Note: Undergraduate-only candidates must demonstrate strong academic pedigree and proven work exposure in relevant programs, analytics, entrepreneurship, or development leadership.
Professional Experience:
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in managing government, CSR, or large-scale development projects
- Direct experience in Monitoring & Evaluation, program analytics, MIS reporting, or impact assessment
- Hands-on exposure to AI/data tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Python, Excel, OpenAI/GPT-based tools)
- Strong field engagement experience with colleges, NGOs, or rural youth entrepreneurship initiatives
- Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi (verbal and written)
- Proven ability to coordinate diverse stakeholders and produce policy-aligned deliverables

Type of Employment: 1-year full-time contract (extendable based on performance and program lifecycle)
