Job Description

NLUD seeks to engage purely on contractual basis, Research Associate in both offline (1position) and online (2 positions) mode to contribute to research project in the area of Competition Law and Corporate Governance. The Research Associate will be guided and mentored by a Faculty Member at NLU Delhi. In this background, applications are invited from scholars in law and social sciences.

Job Responsibilities

The selected candidates will be responsible for:

• Conducting comprehensive research on legal, regulatory, and policy aspects of competition law and corporate governance frameworks in India and globally.
• Developing detailed reports, policy briefs, and academic papers based on the research findings.
• Engaging in stakeholder consultations with government agencies, industry leaders, and consumer advocacy groups.
• Assisting in organizing conferences, roundtable discussions, and dissemination events related to the project.
• Undertaking any additional responsibilities or tasks as may be assigned in furtherance of any project’s objectives or any other assigned tasks.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum Qualifications: LL.B./ Social Science graduate with prior and proven knowledge of Corporate governance and Competition law. Demonstrated knowledge of laws related to digital platforms, technology, competition law and corporate governance. Familiarity with legal research tools and methods, including case law and statutory analysis

Research Associate on remote (online) basis on the following terms:

• Minimum Qualifications: Pursuing LL.B./ Social sciences degree with prior and proven knowledge of Corporate governance and Competition law. Familiarity with legal research tools and methods, including case law and statutory analysis Duration of appointment: Initially 3 months extendable by three months based on performance and project requirements.

Salary

Emoluments: Rs.30,000/- per month
