Job Description

The School Program Associate will play a key role in implementing and managing educational programs in partner (government and non government) schools. The role involves coordinating with school authorities, teachers, and students to ensure smooth program execution, monitoring progress, and providing on-ground support. The ideal candidate should be passionate about education, have strong organizational skills, and be comfortable working in school environments.

Job Responsibilities

 Program Implementation:

  • Assist in the rollout of school-based educational programs.
  • Conduct teacher coordination and support training sessions and student workshops as needed.
  • Ensure program activities align with organizational goals and school requirements. ○ Education Fair, STEM Mela etc, Learning resources

Stakeholder Coordination:

  • Build and maintain relationships with school principals, teachers, and government education officials.
  • Act as a liaison between the organization and partner schools.

Monitoring & Reporting:

  • Track program progress and collect feedback from participants.
  • Prepare regular reports on program outcomes, challenges, and improvements.

Logistics & Operations:

  • Manage program materials, resources, and schedules.
  • Organize and facilitate events, meetings, and training sessions.

Community Engagement:

  • Involve parents and local communities in program activities where applicable.
  • Promote awareness of the program’s impact.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Education, Social Work, Development Studies, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in program coordination/Teaching etc, preferably in the education sector.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills (English and regional language proficiency preferred).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
  • Willingness to travel to schools within the designated region.
  • Basic computer skills (MS Office, Google Workspace, Canva etc).

Preferred Attributes:

  • Experience working with government schools or NGOs.
  • Knowledge of child development and pedagogy
  • Creative problem-solving and adaptability.
