Overview

The Indian Cancer Society, Bangalore, a not-for-profit organization, is inviting applications for the position of State Project Coordinator to support and streamline the implementation
of Cancer awareness, early detection camps and Nutrition supplement kits across the assigned states.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and liaise with partner NGOs and hospitals to plan and implement project activities.
  • Participate actively in on-ground activities such as Anti-tobacco awareness sessions in schools, Early detection camps and Nutritional Supplement Kits
  • Facilitate hospital visits for the disbursal of Nutrition Supplement kits.
  • Counsel and follow up with suspected cancer cases.
  • Manage data entry related to screening and survey activities.
  • Track, document, and report all project-related activities regularly.
  • Support the central office in Bangalore with timely documentation and reporting.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders for timely submission of narrative and financial reports.
Profile Requirements:
  • Have experience in healthcare management or public health.
  • Be a proactive team player with the ability to manage field-based responsibilities.
  • Be willing to travel extensively across the assigned region.
  • Possess strong communication skills in English and the local language.
  • Be proficient in using MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Qualifications and Experience:
Essential:
  • Postgraduate degree in Social Work (MSW) /Management or Public Health (MPH)
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience
  • Proficiency in local language (Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam respectively)
Desirable:
  • Field experience in community health programs
  • Prior experience in managing and executing health-related projects
Compensation:
Around 40,000 pm
