About the Position
We are seeking candidates to join CWS’ Public Health and Safety Program—Wild Surakshe. The program aims to build resilience and train a collaborative network of people and organisations to improve responses to human-wildlife conflict situations and the spread of zoonotic diseases. This is a field-based position that requires the candidate to stay in field locations whenever required.

Key Responsibility

  • Conducting workshops on public health and training in Marathi and Konkani.
  • Conducting field surveys and participant interviews.
  • Supporting the field and research teams in data collection, entry, and organization.
  • Travel and stay in remote locations in Maharashtra and Goa.
  • Logistical support to field teams.

Required Skills

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in science is mandatory.
  • Prior experience in public speaking and engaging with local and remote communities.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • Verbal and written proficiency in Marathi and Konkani is mandatory.
  • Excellent communication and public speaking skills.
  • Two-wheel motor driving License and experience.

Preferred Skills

  • Prior experience in liaising with government officials.
  • Four-wheel motor driving License and experience.
