Applications Open for Certificates in Research For Social Action

Azim Premji University invites applications for the certificate programme under Research for Social Action - Research Design and Primary Data Collection designed for working professionals.

This certificate will help participants appreciate the foundational principles on which research is planned, designed and executed. Further, the courses help develop specific skills of designing research, deciding its methodologies, choosing samples, methods and tools, conducting data collection, analyzing and interpreting the data to use for specific purposes. 

By the end of the programme, participants will be able to:

1. Formulate a good research question                       

2. Collect data and analyse it

3. Carry out a basic research

The duration of the programme is 2.5 weeks and will be conducted in person at the University in Bangalore.

Eligibility:

Individuals with a minimum experience of two years in social sector organisations, social movements, thematic action networks, activist groups, and development media.
