About the Organization

Though working for the poorest and the helpless, Beggars Corporation is probably the only organization in the world that is not an NGO. Incorporated on August 12, 2022, as a For-Profit company, we engage in profit with purpose and commerce with conscience.

To turn it into a socio-economic re-evolution, we refuse to take funding from governments and venture capital firms. Instead, we connect well-off citizens to invest in the ventures of the beggars under the ONE BEGGAR, ONE MENTOR #OBOM scheme.

About the Fellowship

Beggars Corporation, as the name suggests, is not just a startup, but a Socio Economic Re-Evolution to make the poor both Creators & Owners of Wealth. The ideal fellows must have capability & determination to turn the poorest of the poor, especially beggars, into profit-making entrepreneurs in 1 year.

• Number of Fellowship: Only 4 (four)per Year
• Duration: 1 Year
• Stipend & Allowances: INR 30,000 + Incentives
• Key Domains: Corporate Partnership (Mumbai), Government Relations (New Delhi), Equity Funding (Varanasi), Project Management (Varanasi)
• Rewards: Award to the best performer, Certificate, scope for media coverage, public attention, participation in seminars/meetings etc on behalf the organization, interaction with dignitaries, getting published/featured in our websites/social media pages/publications etc.

Other requirements:

• Commitment for Social Change
• Own laptop and smartphone

Eligibility

• Must have 1-2 years productive experience in similar fields
• Age Range: 22-27
