Applications Open for F.A.I.R. Project, an initiative of Eight Goals One Foundation (8one)

The F.A.I.R. Project, an initiative of Eight Goals One Foundation (8one), is an experiential program for individuals between 18 to 27 years of age, in partnership with UNESCO and Ecocivilisation. The programme is fully funded, with 20+ online sessions and 2 weeks of on-ground immersion. 

F.A.I.R. is a methodology of introspection which is driven by active dialogue and analysis to inculcate a mindset that focuses on what is right for all and not what benefits a few.  

F.A.I.R. as a process focuses on developing a rational understanding of the world through a series of interactions with relevant stakeholders and experts, critical engagement with the issues, personal introspection, and learning to question and being comfortable both factually and logically with your conclusions. It includes four steps:  

F: Fact-Finding and Familiarise Yourself 
A: Advocate for Alternate Viewpoints 
I: Introspect and Interrogate Yourself 
R: Reason and Rationalise 

Who is it for/Eligibility: 

Applications are open to motivated and open-minded young individuals (18 to 27 year old) who are driven by their inquisitiveness and the willingness to learn and lead, and are not limited by their level and field of qualification.  

Qualification: Anyone can apply. 

Number of Participants: 32 

Location (country/state/city): Online with 2 weeks of on-ground immersion.

Program Dates: 5 June 2025 – 18 July 2025 

Application Deadline: 24th March 2025, till 11:59 PM. 

Instructions related to the application are listed within the application form.  

All applicants need to submit a 120-180 second video or audio clip answering any one of the following questions:  

1. What would your ideal position be with respect to the way the world looks at any of the 8 goals? 
2. According to you, what is the biggest challenge our world faces today and why? 
3. What human achievement are you most proud of? 

Any applicant that is unable to submit the video or audio clip can submit a 400-word write up along with their reason for their inability to submit the video/audio clip within 50 words. 

Fee details (if any): 

The programme is fully-funded and does not require participants to pay any fee at any stage of the process.
