About the Organization

A leading Bio-Incubator located in the National Capital Region on Faridabad-Gurugram Expressway, with a vision to foster innovation, research and entrepreneurial activities in biotechnology related areas. The mission of BBB is to stimulate the establishment and growth of biotechnology based startup companies. BBB is funded by BIRAC under the BioNEST (Bioincubators Nurturing Entrepreneurship for Scaling Technologies) scheme, managed and operated by Regional Centre for Biotechnology (RCB) which is recognised as an institute of national importance by the Parliament of India and is a Category II centre under the auspices of UNESCO.

About the Challenge

A unique innovation challenge showcasing critical thinking, innovation and creativity of Undergraduate and Postgraduate students With the mission to support and nurture the Biotech startup ecosystem, BBB is continuously supporting young Bio-entrepreneurs by providing excellent incubation facilities & infrastructure. BBB is organizing an innovation challenge ‘SPARK’ to provide a platform to the budding entrepreneurs

Problem Statements:

• “Preventive Healthcare Solutions”: Innovative tools or applications for early detection & prevention of diseases like diabetes, hypertension & cardiovascular conditions etc.
• “Water Conservation in Urban Areas”: Small water management systems that help urban households & industries reduce water wastage, ensuring sustainable usage & prevention of water resources
• “Agri-waste to resource”: Transformation of agricultural waste into valuable resources such as bioenergy & biodegradable materials to create sustainable farming practices

Attractive Prizes:

• First Prize: INR 10,000
• Second Prize: INR 7,000
• Third Prize: INR 5,000

Eligibility

• A Team of 3-5 UG / PG (Science) / Ph.D. Pursuing students
• The team can be from any UGC recognized College/ Institute/ University
