Applications Open for 11th Edition of Baithak

Goonj is back with the 11th edition of Baithak

Building a social enterprise is a very challenging yet rewarding experience. You enter a journey of learning experiences, a vast ecosystem filled with diverse needs. If you’re receiving this mail, kudos to you for successfully taking the first step and starting an initiative, we are aware that this must not have been easy. The failures, risks, and rejection from friends and family often makes it quite nerve-wracking... There might have been times you explored for like-minded people, a broader understanding of the social sector, or perhaps just a space to talk/share. Do these lines resonate with you? Have you often encountered questions like- Why the development sector? Why social work? Then Baithak is for you.

Baithak started with the aim of building a supportive community of people working on development issues and simultaneously building an inclusive ecosystem of co-learning, unlearning, and collaboration. 
In this two days experiential journey, we hope to provide a platform that connects you to a community of like-minded people.
In the past 10 Baithaks, we witnessed interesting and enthusiastic conversations on diverse challenges people face and immense possibilities of cross-learning and connections among the participants.  More details here- Baithak | Goonj

We now invite applications for the 11th Baithak on 14th and 15th June' 2024
Built around group discussions, activities, and a Dialogue with Magsaysay Awardee Anshu Gupta, Founder-Goonj & Gram Swabhimaan.

To participate:
- Your organization must be less than 7 years old.
- For Founders/Co-Founders only (max 2 representatives can attend)
- This will be for both Registered & Non-registered organizations.

- The last date for applying is 5th June'24

Kindly Note:

• Basic accommodation will be provided if required. 
• Participation is subject to confirmation by Goonj 
• Being part of Baithak for the complete two days according to the mentioned timings is mandatory, as the flow and agenda have the continuation and one can make a complete picture of it when you are fully part of it for 2 days.
• Participants are welcome to contribute a basic amount under the Gift economy approach. Details in the Baithak-11 (Registration Form
