ABGUS in partnership with SBI Foundation Organized Blood Donation Camp

On the occasion of World Blood Donor Day, Akhil Bhartiya Gramin Uthan Samiti (ABGUS) in partnership with SBI Foundation organized a successful blood donation camp in Haryana. The camp was inaugurated by Mr. Rajesh Verma; Founder of Akhil Bhartiya Gramin Uthan Samiti (ABGUS). 

ABGUS stakeholders from community volunteers from partner corporates and government and many of the general public of Tauru, and Dharuhera participated in this social cause of saving lives and have actively participated in this camp to make it successful. They collected 45 units of blood on this occasion. The camp started from 10 am and stretched till 4.30 pm in the evening seeing more than 63 donors for this noble cause. 

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Rajesh Verma; Founder of Akhil Bhartiya Gramin Uthan Samiti (ABGUS) appraised the volunteers and said “In our country, it is believed that Raktadaan hi mahadaan hai (Blood donation is the greatest of all donation). We are glad that we were able to organize the camp and take another step toward society’s betterment and I’m thankful to the employees and people who volunteered for this noble initiative. We look forward to organizing more such events in near future. 

For the past 3 decades, Akhil Bhartiya Gramin Uthan Samiti (ABGUS) has been working for Health Development and has conducted several awareness programs and campaigns to inform and educate the weaker and backward sections of the society about the importance of maintaining health and hygiene.
