On World Heart Day, Farmley—India’s Leading Healthy Snacking Brand—reaffirmed its commitment to a healthy future with its Snack-Run: Move N Munch marathon. The event, held on Sunday, September 29 in association with Jaypee Hospital in Noida’s Sector 128, saw fitness enthusiasts from across Delhi-NCR put their jogging shoes on and take a pledge for a healthy heart.

As per a recent report, heart diseases are on the rise in India, particularly among the 30-50 age group, primarily due to sedentary habits, high stress, and poor diet choices. Farmley, with its mission to promote heart health, took the first step by encouraging people to focus on their well-being through this marathon.

Giving their Sunday a healthy start, 1,700 participants gathered in the lush green lawns of Sector 128, ready to take a step towards heart health. They were given the option of choosing among three formats: a 10km marathon, a 5km marathon, or a 5km walkathon, depending on comfort and fitness levels. Prior to the run, an energising Zumba session was carried out, ensuring participants are prepped to begin right. Water stations placed along the route ensured that runners were hydrated and got enough breaks. Once the run concluded, participants were directed to the health check-up booth, for a rejuvenating physiotherapy session conducted by medical professionals.
