The UNDP is calling upon the global community to support developing countries through the sharing and transfer of open source technology.

Criteria:

  • You are at least 13 years of age. (If you are 12 years or younger, you must receive a legal guardian’s permission and have them complete Hackster’s contest permission form prior to submitting an entry into this contest.)
  • You are not involved in the execution or administration of this contest.
  • You are not an immediate family member or household member of a Hackster employee.
  • You can enter as a team of no more than five members.

  • An established business model and strong financial track record (based on number of clients, break-even, valuation, and turnover);
  • An innovative technology, business model, or process with a strong competitive advantage (Intellectual property, clear unique selling proposition, uniqueness factor);
  • Closed a Series A deal (valued at US$500,000 or more) or reached break-even through organic growth;
  • Had their accounts audited;
  • Retained a solid team with complementary competencies to run and grow a business;

BRICS Young Scientist Conclave took place to implement the BRICS Leaders’ Declaration on “strengthening cooperation in science, technology and innovation, especially leveraging young scientific talent for addressing societal challenges; creating a networking platform for BRICS young scientists”

Criteria:

  • Scientists/ engineers/ technologists/ innovators/ science journalists-educator’s science, science literacy and popularizing professional/ specialists on translational aspects of research and technology integration in society-market/ researchers in the subject areas of Ecology, Materials Science and Artificial intelligence and holding a Master’s degree (Ph.D. students) or Ph.D. degree up to the age of 40 years as on the last date of submitting the applications are eligible to apply.
  • Young innovators must be up to 30 years old.
  • The candidates working in private companies/ Industries are not eligible to apply.
  • The applicants who have already participated in the previous editions of BRICS Young Scientist Conclaves are NOT eligible to apply.
