Organization-  "la Caixa" Foundation


Deadline- 05 May 2022 


About the Organization- 

La Caixa, also known as the "La Caixa" Foundation, is a not-for-profit banking foundation based in eastern Spain.This call is aimed at generating opportunities to tackle poverty and contribute towards the fight against inequalities in countries with lower rates of development in Africa, Asia and Latin America, through projects implemented by Spanish NGOs in collaboration with local partners in the recipient countries.


Eligibility Criteria- 

  • The following types of organisations can apply for the call:
  • Non-profit organisations.
  • Social economy organisation that specifically state in their Articles of 
  • Association that their goal is to promote international development aid.
  • The public authorities cannot apply for this call.
  • These organisations must be legal incorporated and recorded in the corresponding register, domiciled in Spain and have the institutional goal of carrying out activities connected with international development aid.
  • The organisations must have a local partner in the country where the project is to take place.

Organization- Open Knowledge Foundation


Deadline- 13 May 2022 


Grant Amount- 1000 USD


About the Organization- 

An open future means knowledge is shared by all – freely available to everyone, a world where people are able to fulfil their potential and live happy and healthy lives.Open Data Day is the annual global celebration of open data. Each year, groups from around the world organise local events to celebrate, promote and spread the use of open data in their communities.


Eligibility Criteria- 

  • The small grant application is open to all registered organisations across the world, who are interested in hosting in-person open data events and activities in their country.
  • An individual cannot apply for this year’s small grant application, and the events cannot be virtual or online.
  • The application of special grants for the “Ocean data for a thriving planet” category is restricted to organisations and communities living in coastal nations.
