About the Organization

The Global Talent Network (GTN) is a non-profit initiative registered as a 501c3 entity in the US. Established in 2023 by Ruchir Agarwal and Patrick Gaule, GTN aims to advance knowledge and progress by discovering, nurturing, and empowering talent from every part of the globe.

Our mission is to discover, nurture, and empower talented youth worldwide. Our programs invest in the next generation of STEM leaders, with the aim of advancing frontier innovation and progress.

The Nations program ("National Talent Initiatives") supports organizations that are involved in math and science Olympiads.

About the Grant

Global Talent Network seeks to discover, nurture, and empower talented youth worldwide. The NATIONS program provides small grants to organizations that identify and nurture school students with the potential to excel in mathematics and STEM.

Our program offers grants of up to $20,000 for small projects or up to $50,000 for larger projects.

Examples of grants:

• Training Camps and Courses:  IMO Training Camps in Costa Rica, Mongolia, Pakistan, South Africa, etc.
• Support National/Regional Olympiads: Philippines National Math Olympiad, OMCC, etc.
• Establishment of New Olympiads/Competitions: Ethiopia National Math Olympiad, East Africa National Math Olympiad, etc.
• Other Projects: Teacher training for Malaysia National Math Olympiad, etc.

What are we looking for:

We look for proposals where our funding has the potential to make a clear difference in the identification and nurturing talent. We are particularly interested in proposals that may enable us to learn about the effectiveness of different interventions to identify and nurture talent.

Eligibility

• Geography: The NATIONS Program welcomes applications from organizations across the globe. We encourage applications from all geographical regions. Applicants based in Europe please refer to our partners at STEM Talent Fund.
• Age range: High School STEM competitions
• Project types: Please refer to the four categories above
• Funding: Our program offers grants of up to $20,000 for smaller projects or up to $50,000 for larger projects.
• Legal: We prefer applications from a registered nonprofit or under a fiscal sponsorship arrangement with a registered nonprofit. We will consider other applicants on a case-by-case basis.

Proposal Submission: Interested applicants submit project proposals using the link below.

Review: We will review your application. We may request additional information or suggest  revisions. However, we may not be able to respond to all proposals.
