About the Organization

At the end of the earth or the end of the street, we can all commit to changing the world.

The Yves Rocher Foundation was born over 25 years ago, inspired by one family’s desire to give the natural world back what it is owed by human beings. From the very start, from its beginnings in the French village of La Gacilly to its global presence today, our vocation has always been to protect biodiversity.

About the Grant

Launched in 2019, the International Terre de Femmes Award is a thematic prize open to all women worldwide. It rewards on-the-ground actions carried out by a woman or a group of women within a non-profit organization.

• Are you an adult woman (or a group of women) committed to insect conservation?
• Does your project have a strong environmental AND social impact (involvement of local communities) in safeguarding coastal areas?
• Is your organization an NGO, association or foundation?

Then the Terre de Femmes Prize is for you! The prize: a financial award of €10,000, as well as support from our team and the opportunity to share experiences in our Terre de Femmes super community. This environmental dimension is complemented by a considerable social and societal impact.

By collectively supporting this great adventure for nature, we are helping to build a better tomorrow for present and future generations.

As such, in 2025, we are launching the seventh edition of this prize on the theme: "Coastal ecosystems, dynamic environments between land and sea".

Eligibility

• The Yves Rocher Foundation Terre de Femmes International Prize is open to women of legal age throughout the world who are carrying out a project in favor of nature through a non-profit organization (foundation, association, NGO ...) or on a personal basis, when the laws and regulations of their country prevent them from participating through a non-profit organization.
• Candidates may not be members of the Yves Rocher Foundation, persons involved in the organization of this contest, or Groupe Rocher staff or employees.
• Participation in the International Prize is limited to one entry per person (same first name and surname).
