About the Organization

The Ananya Birla Foundation was founded in 2020 during the peak of COVID, when hopelessness and loss were felt worldwide.

This was our chance to bring happiness, kindness and positivity to the world by building a foundation of trust, love, acceptance and respect for all.

Our vision: voicing and building awareness of causes on all spectrums and creating a safe, equanimous and stigma-free environment for the community.

About the Grant

Our grant programs support education initiatives, life-quality improvements, and other innovative ways to uplift the underserved communities around the world.

We make grants primarily through relationship building with potential grantees. We also accept proposals from qualified public entities, section 80-G organizations (India). The Foundation neither lends nor grants money to individuals.

While we are eager to fund activities that make the world a happier, healthier, and more equal place:

• We do not make grants or loans to individuals.
• We do not make loans or investments to private businesses.
• We do not fund political activities.
• We do not fund religious activities or programs serving specific religious groups or denominations. However, faith-based organizations may submit grant applications if a project falls within our areas of interest.

How to Apply

• The Foundation strives to be responsive to the needs of all eligible organizations.
• Grant applications are accepted throughout the year.
• Applicants will be notified whether their grant request has been approved within two (2) months of appplication.
• Each organization is limited to one application within a twelve-month period.
