About the Foundation

ENGIE Foundation has been mobilising energies to help the weakest and most vulnerable. Their primary focus has been children and young people in need, giving them the confidence to grow by supporting projects that promote inclusion through culture, education, health or sport. Support for children is in keeping with the Foundation’s philosophy: children will build the world of tomorrow, so giving them the energy to act is vital to the future of the planet.

Areas:

The Foundation finances projects carried out by associations of general interest that correspond to their own areas of action, namely:

• Helping children and young people to join society
• Access to energy for sustainable development
• Emergency aid

The ENGIE Foundation does not finance:

• One-off events: festivals, galas, exhibitions, concerts, conferences etc.
• Individual projects or projects not carried out by an association: personal projects, travel, student projects, study grants, internships, intern stays, PhD theses or degree these
• Projects that come under the ENGIE Fondation Agir Pour l’Emploi (FAPE)
• Publishing or film-making projects
• Communication initiatives or projects with a promotional or advertising aim
