Background 

CSRBOX is a social impact strategy practice and implementation organisation. We work with companies and philanthropic organisations for better CSR program design, pre-project to post-project handholding and impact assessment. We embed technology solutions for responding to social problems at a scale. Purpose of this EOI

CSRBOX is working with the corporate as an Impact Advisory and curating projects and programs around different thematic areas including environment. CSRBOX, through this EOI note, wishes to invite proposals from NGOs/Start-ups who have developed decentralised or community based solar plants. The interested NGO/Start-up will be responsible for designing, installing and commissioning of the power plant in association with local government agencies.

Scope of Work

CSRBOX is engaged with a corporate that have shown interest to fund entire project of developing community based solar power plants. The scope of work includes the following interventions:

• Government and local department liasioning (may include statutory clearances, 
• Identification of suitable site in the specific area 
• Project design, installation and commission
• Vocational training to locals for maintenance 
• Project Monitoring and Reporting

Interested organisations with qualified manpower, experience and expertise in the renewable energy space are encouraged to apply for the EOI.

Who Can Apply?

• The start-up/ SME/non-profit who have successfully implemented one similar (community solar powered project/off grid/decentralised power project) in the last 3 years.
• The start-up/ SME/non-profit should have qualified manpower, as well as experience and expertise in end-to-end project management and maintenance of such interventions.
• The start-up/ SME/non-profit should have experience in working with local communities and relevant government departments. Organisations can also have established partnerships with communities for maintenance.
