About the Organization

Government of West Bengal is Committed towards large scale Skill development for its youth population to improve the scope of gainful employment and entrepreneurial opportunities under the WBSDM (West Bengal Skill Development Mission) chaired by the Hon'ble Chief Minister of West Bengal. To ensure that the above commitment is met successfully the Department of Technical Education, Training & Skill Development; Government of West Bengal has launched the "Utkarsh Bangla", a flagship scheme on 16th February 2016 under the aegis of the PBSSD (PaschimBanga Society for Skill Development) for placement linked short-term skill trainings across the State of West Bengal.

About the Proposal

Paschim Banga Society for skil1 Development (PBSSD) Intends to take up proposal from the Agencies registered with Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India (Agencies with valid PRN) for implementation of Sagarmala- DDU-GKYY  Convergence Programme, a joint venture of Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways (MOPSW) and Ministry of Rural and Development (MORD), Government of India in the state of west Bengal, which will be implemented in 2 districts of west Bengal namely Purba Midnapore and South 24 Parganas.

Applicants may apply to either of the following groups which is A or B. PAC is the final authority for sanction of the project basis the merit of the proposal.

Sagarmala-DDUGKY Convergence programme guidelines shall be applicable as decided by the Ministries from time to time. The PIAS are expected to complete the project within 1 year preferably or maximum by the time period defined by Government of India. Applicants having prior experience in implementing Sagarmala-DDUGKY Convergence programme will be given a preference based on their performance.

Incomplete proposal in any respect shall be summarily rejected and PIA will have to resubmit application as per norms. For further information, please mail to spmol.pbssd- wb@bangla.gov.in.

Applicants are requested to stick to either of the Project A or Project B as stated above. The proposals should be Complete in nature for the incomplete ones shall be rejected summarily without further intimation. TPS can apply for both the projects, but in two prop0sals.

PAC shall decided the cases, after considering the appraisal reports and keeping in view the developmental priorities of the State Government.

The concerned branch of the PBSSD shall flag the case in the official website of the PBSSD andtake all necessary further follow up.

PBSSD reserves the right to cancel this EoI at any point of time.

How to Apply

The proposal submission window for online submission of proposal is open now. Interested agencies may submit their proposal online at http://www.erp.ddugky.info on or before 31St January, 2023 (Tuesday). PBSSD reserves the right to extend the last date basis the participation in this EoI.
