Lupin Human Welfare & Research Foundation (LHWRF) is the social responsibility arm of Lupin limited, founded by Dr. Desh Bandu Gupta in 1988. Capacity building, skill development, natural resource management, strengthening grassroots value chains, and improving farmers’ access to markets are vital elements of our Livelihoods strategy. 

Lives: Lives program focuses on enriching communities’ quality of life and ensuring better access to healthcare services.  Strategic engagement to strengthen health systems addressing Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and Cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) is an irreplaceable building block of our Lives strategy. 

LHWRF will work in the following area:

1. Increasing awareness about the diseases at the community level.
2. Strengthening health service delivery for screening, diagnostics, treatment and management of the diseases under the umbrella of NPCDCS.

The organisation works on evidence based programming. To understand the field better LHWRF seeks a proposal from a certified organisation to conduct the Baseline Landscape analysis survey of population at the risk of IHD(CVD), COPD, Asthma, Diabetes, Hypertension in the intervention areas of the project.
