About the Proposal

The International Centre for Research in Agroforestry – ICRAF (also known by the brand name ‘World Agroforestry’) invites proposals for the upgradation of the Nursery at Ghooghra, Ajmer Range, Ajmer Forest Division, Rajasthan.

Background:

CIFOR-ICRAF is leading the implementation of the Trees Outside Forests in India (TOFI).

Program - a five-year joint initiative by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC) of the Government of India. The TOFI program aims to expand the area under trees outside forests to enhance livelihoods and ecosystem services across seven participating states, namely Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Haryana, Odisha, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, and Uttar Pradesh.

One of the key deliverables under the program isto set up/ upgrade existing plant nurseries in the implementing states to enable easy access to Quality Planting Material (QPM). The proposed nursery upgradation in Ajmer, Rajasthan aims to enhance and expand the existing nursery facilities to support large-scale production of seedlings and tissue culture seedling.

CIFOR-ICRAF is looking for eligible vendors to undertake the upgradation work of the nursery as per the scope of work.

Scope of Work:

• Repair of Shade House/ Green House: Repairing shade house to provide a controlled environment for seedling growth.
• Construction of water tank: New water tank to ensure a consistent water supply for the nursery.
• Construction of pucca beds and seed storage room.
• Construction of Drainage and Compost pit.
• Supply of Nursery equipment and tools

Delivery & Installation Timeline: 45 Days, effective immediately upon signing of award.

Eligibility

• Firm should be a Private Limited Company and/or proprietorship.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience
• Any firm registered under Indian law
