About the Organization:

Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD) announced the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY) Antyodaya Diwas, on 25th September 2014. DDU-GKY is a part of the National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM), tasked with the dual objectives of adding diversity to the incomes of rural poor families and cater to the career aspirations of rural youth.

DDU-GKY is uniquely focused on rural youth between the ages of 15 and 35 years from poor families. As a part of the Skill India campaign, it plays an instrumental role in supporting the social and economic programs of the government like the Make In India, Digital India, Smart Cities and Start-Up India, Stand-Up India campaigns.

Description:

State Project Management Unit, Department of Rural Development, Govt. of Uttarakhand invites proposals from registered Project Implementing agencies (PIAs) with Permanent Registration Number (PRN) for implementation of Persons with Disabilities (PwD) DDU-GKY project in the state of Uttarakhand. Interested PIAs may submit their proposals online at https://erp.ddugky.info/ as per prescribed format and process by MoRD along with non-refundable application fee of Rs. 25,000 per application drawn in favor of Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY), State Project Management Unit, A/C no o0880100017168, Bank of Baroda- Dehradun main branch IFSC Code BARBoDEHRAD (Fifth character is zero in IFSC code) Dehradun-248001. Qualitative fee will be applicable separately to the qualified PLA. This is in pursuant of Notification 20/2017 dated 3rd April 2017 regarding the appraisal process for new projects.

The proposals should be submitted on or before January 31st, 2021, application received after aforesaid date shall not be entertained in this round of appraisal. Incomplete applications shall be summarily rejected and PIA will have to resubmit application as per norms. Hard copy applications will not be entertained.

Project duration should be maximum of three years. As per the targets available with the state, PIA should submit the proposal for a span of 3 to 6 months. Proposed training centers shall be both residential and non-residential type.

SPMU, RD, Govt. of Uttarakhand reserves the right to accept or reject any or all the proposals.
