Accounts Receivable Assistant

Job Description
- Efficiently process and submit invoices to clients, adhering to stringent deadlines.
- Proactively follow up with clients to ensure invoice receipt and resolve any acceptance issues.
- Diligently chase overdue accounts as identified in the aged debt report, encompassing all facets of Credit Control.
- Handle internal and external account inquiries, collaborating with relevant parties to gather necessary information for accurate cash allocation and invoice processing.
- Set up new client accounts and maintain existing ones with a focus on accuracy and relationship management.
- Perform daily bank account reviews to identify incoming cash and allocate them correctly to client accounts.
- Administer cash movements between projects, facilitating precise project receipt tracking.
- Execute necessary adjustments, including processing write-offs and financial amendments
- Produce accurate aged debtors report with analysis for Management
- Conduct thorough account reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy and integrity.
Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience
- Demonstrable experience with invoice creation, cash posting, debt recovery, account reconciliation, account setup, and comprehensive credit control.
- A proven track record of managing or contributing significantly to financial processes.
- Exceptional numeracy and IT proficiency, underpinned by a keen eye for detail.
- Strong organisational skills with the capacity to exercise initiative and manage a substantial workload
- A collaborative team player with a history of working effectively within a group setting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Adept at cultivating and sustaining robust relationships both within the company and with external partners.
- Diplomatic communication skills, coupled with the discretion to handle sensitive information.
- Flexibility to work across multiple services and departments, showcasing versatility and adaptability
- Some experience in a similar role (Minimum 2 years)
- Finance or Accounting Qualification is desirable, Diploma/Degree.
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience highly desirable but not essential
- Excellent numeracy
- IT Literacy
- Strong ability in MS applications /Excel
- High degree of accuracy
- Ability to work independently, self-motivated, and able to work effectively as part of a team with a can-do attitude.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to use own initiative and take responsibility for important processes.
- Able to deal with people at all levels in a professional manner.
- Able to prioritise tasks.
- Can work shift times to support global offices.
- Hands on Experience in Transition is desirable but not essential.
