About the Organization

MBMA is a not-for-profit company incorporated under the Planning Department of the Government of Meghalaya, engaged in the implementation of specialized development projects focused on enhancement of natural resource management, access to finance, livelihood development, enterprise promotion, market linkage, and knowledge services.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Development Studies, Public Policy, or a related field.

Required Experiences:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in youth engagement, skilling, livelihoods, or alternative education with at least 1 year focused on out-of-school or marginalized youth.
• At least 1 year of experience working with government programs or non-profit organizations delivering youth-focused services.
• Proven track record in program design, implementation, and coordination, especially for marginalized or out-of-school youth.
• Experience working with government programs or non-profit agencies delivering youthcentric services.
• Familiarity with national skilling frameworks, NIOS, or employment-linked training programs.

 Skills & Attributes:

• Strong communication, facilitation, and community mobilisation skills.
• Capacity to build partnerships with training providers, industries, and government stakeholders.
• Analytical and documentation skills, including report writing and data interpretation.
• Ability to manage multiple field partners and monitor quality of implementation.
• Entrepreneurial attitude and creative problem-solving capacity. 6. Proficiency in MS Office and digital platforms for education or workforce readiness.
