Delhi Council for Child Welfare (DCCW) is a non-government organization dedicated towards child welfare and community development since 1952. For over 70 years, DCCW has been aspiring to live up to its mission to “give children a childhood and a future” by helping abandoned and under-privileged children in and around Delhi through its various programs and services.
We are looking for an experienced Female Candidate to lead and manage assigned program centres in Delhi. She must be compassionate, enjoys working with under privileged children at grassroot level, has the capability to design and implement programs in line with DCCW’s mission, demonstrates leadership and management skills, capable of teamwork and building trust.
Responsibilities:
- Assist senior management in organizing, administration and implementation of programs at our Outreach Community centres.
- Regular visits to program centres and working with the communities at grassroot level.
- Manage staff at assigned program centres.
- Monitoring, and Reporting on all programs at the assigned centres to the Director in accordance with established and accepted systems.
- Personnel Management and Staff Welfare of staff at the assigned centres.
- Assist in fundraising, drafting proposals and proactive interaction with potential donors
- Coordination and liaison with donors, local NGOs and other stakeholders.
- Drafting Annual budgets and monthly financial review for the assigned centres
Skills / Experience:
- Minimum 8 years relevant work experience, preferably in Development Sector.
- Work experience must include working with communities at grassroot level.
- Willingness to regularly visit program centre locations in resettlement colonies in Delhi
- Work experience must include managing projects and teams independently.
- Ability to build, motivate and lead a team with varied skills and experience.
- Working knowledge of financial budget preparation and managing costs is a must
- Strong written and verbal communication in Hindi and English
Salary will be commensurate with experience and in alignment with Indian NGOs.
