SwaTaleem Foundation is an India and US registered, civil society organization, which works in the domain of girls’ education by improving the learning ambiance of Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas (KGBVs) in Haryana. Its emphasis is to enhance the long-term educational and life outcomes of girls through a community-centric approach backed by evidence-based pedagogy. It works with girls, teachers, schools, government officials, and parents. Since these Schools are protected and the work would involve going into these spaces, only female candidates should apply.

Job Title: 

Associate Cluster Lead- Operations (Bhiwani, Kaithal, Palwal, and Mahendragarh in Haryana)

Position Overview: 

The Associate Cluster Lead will report to the Cluster Lead of their cluster and support her in all academic aspects of the program. As part of the team contributes towards the implementation of the program, problem-solving, capacity building, Government Liasoning, and other stakeholder management at the district.

Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly motivated female individual with a well–rounded perspective of the education sector, a flair for writing and the drive to create an impact, to join the team. The role will provide a space for the individual to contribute to the capacity building of team and stakeholders, and strategy making for the district while working in an open environment with other experienced professionals. 

• Liasoning with District/Block Government officials, schools, and community

• Conducting bridge courses and SEL/Life Skill with Girls and supporting teachers in implementing the English curriculum.

• Assist in facilitating the capacity-building workshops and conducting Monthly Teacher-Warden cluster sessions 

• Prepare monthly progress reports, permission/order letter, and document best practices, case studies & success stories from the field to share with cluster leads and Governments.

• Regular school visits

• Attend regular workshops with Research and Readiness team

• Ensure implementation of Technology (IVRS and Tab Lab) in the KGBVs and support in related communication to schools.

• Support in conducting Baseline and Endline assessments in KGBVs

• Support in conducting any district and state events

• Any other work assigned by the line manager/point of contact will be also part of the JD.

Required Qualifications

• Post-graduation equivalent degree required.

• 2-3 years of work experience in the education/development sector is highly preferred.

• Prior experience in projects related to teacher training

• Experience working in a multilingual context

• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) 

• An analytical mindset with problem-solving skills. 

• Strong interpersonal skills, with experience in building & managing relationships.

• The operating style suited to working in an organization setting, where teamwork and resourcefulness are highly valued.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks at a time. 

• Demonstrate a good level of intelligence, & social & self -awareness.

• Have good communication skills (writing and speaking) in English and Hindi.

• Should be comfortable in traveling to Schools and attending workshops

Note: We would prefer if the candidate can drive and has access to a Two-wheeler.

Compensation: 

INR 20,000-25000 (Negotiable) + Travel remuneration

• Preference will be given to the candidates who intend to spend at least 2 years with the organization.
