About the Internship

We are inviting applications from passionate and motivated individuals for a short-term internship opportunity to support a large-scale CSR-driven women empowerment initiative. The internship provides hands-on exposure to community engagement, institutional outreach, stakeholder coordination, awareness building, and social impact programme implementation.

Selected interns will work closely with the programme team to connect with educational institutions, youth networks, community organisations, and local stakeholders to create awareness and encourage participation among eligible beneficiaries.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct on-ground outreach in educational institutions (colleges/universities) in your native city.

• Organise and support awareness sessions, info-desks, or short talks within institutions to inform eligible girl students about the programme and its benefits.

• Distribute programme collateral (brochures, posters, QR codes/links) and ensure visibility on institution notice boards and student groups, wherever permitted.

• Identify eligible girl candidates from economically weaker sections and guide them through the initial stages of the application/registration process.

• Act as a first point of contact for queries from prospective candidates and their families, and escalate as needed to the reporting team.

• Maintain a weekly record/report of institutions covered, students reached, and candidates registered, and share it with the reporting team on a fixed weekly cadence.

Eligibility

• Undergraduate/ Post Graduate students (currently pursuing or completed) and above can apply.

• Interest in social impact, community engagement, CSR, development sector, education, communication, or outreach activities.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to engage with institutions and community stakeholders.

• Basic documentation and reporting skills.

• Knowledge of the local language will be preferred.

• Willingness to travel within the assigned district.
