Consultant- Fundraising Manager

 

Yellow Spark is hiring for one of its clients, a non-profit organization working for the rights ofthe oppressed and marginalized section of society.

Position: Consultant- Fundraising Manager

Location: Navi Mumbai (Work from office)

CTC: INR 7 LPA This is a fixed-term renewable contractual position.

Purpose of the Role: To support the organization in fundraising strategy and growth.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Support the organization’s fundraising strategy building and implementation plan
• Support all aspects of the organization’s fundraising cycle, including but not limited to:Donor prospecting and research, Grant writing
• Relevant fundraising collateralDonor database managementDonor-required documentationRelationship building with existing and new donors and philanthropic communities
• Stay abreast with the latest developments in the fundraising landscape, and adapt theselearnings within the organization’s context
• Support the organization’s communications team to strengthen fundraising potential
• Using knowledge of emerging media trends to leverage media to enhance fundraising

Requirements:

Qualification & Knowledge:

• Graduation in any stream. Post-graduation would be preferred
• Basic knowledge of design software preferred (Canva, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.)

Experience:

• 2-4 years’ experience in fundraising within the development sectorExperience in managing media relations

• Ability to work independently and multi-task
• Must be trustworthy
• Excellent interpersonal skills for interacting with different stakeholders -communities, collectives, civil society, and government officials
• Hardworking and must have the ability to work within deadlines

Role-specific technical skills:

• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English; fluency in Hindi andMarathi preferred; the candidate should be able to share complex ideas clearly,accurately, and conciselyCommitment to work within the human rights framework

Any other specifications: The person taking this role should be flexible to travel to differentlocations in Mumbai
