Key Details:

1. Position: Coordinator- Early Childhood Development

2. Location: Pawru, Jamshedpur, Jharkhand ( 1)

3. Joining Date: Immediate

4. Work Week: 6 days (Monday to Saturday)

5. Contract Duration: Full time

6. Reports to: Program Manager- Education

7. Supervisory role: None

Position Overview:

Coordinator - ECD plays a vital role in fostering collaborative relationships and strengthening the organization's capacity to achieve its goals and objectives.

Core Roles and Responsibilities: 70%

  • Programme coordination and Reporting: Implement program activities in alignment with organizational objectives and goals. Take lead in ensuring quality check in activities and coordinate course correction in the same. Ensure field level activities are being conducted as planned, with effective usage of resources.
  • Logistic support: Ensure logistical support regarding any programmatic visits, maintain proper documentation at the field level and update the same at the programme level in office.
  • Monitoring and Evaluation: Track and evaluate the impact of strategies and activities, prepare field based reports, triangulate data at the field level and coordinate any visits with MEAL team to  provide data-driven insights for continuous improvement.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Foster effective communication and collaboration between internal teams and external partners to optimize resource sharing and leverage expertise.
  • Partnership Development: Identify and establish strategic partners related to effective programme implementation, trainings and capacity building.

Link Responsibilities: 15%

  • Explore proactively capacity building requirement within team members and provide support in designing M& E structures at the field level.
  • Share and inform leadership on the impact of progamme activities and identify new training needs for project teams as well as for community.

Systemic Responsibilities: 15%

  • Engage in upholding and strengthening the core values of the organisation, foster transparent and open feedback system.

Eligibility Criteria:

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A master’s degree in  Social Sciences or related discipline is preferred, with minimum 2-3 years of working experience in non-profits.
  • Relevant certifications on facilitation techniques, learning tools, data analytics, research tools and methodologies will be preferred and add on to the profile.

Skills and competencies:

  • Experience in coordinating programmes, including gathering M&E insights, report writing and documentation of activities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively.
  • Ability to manage logistical support for large scale programme activities.

Salary for the advertised position will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
