Job Description

• Develop and implement project social development plans and activities to promote social inclusion and gender equality  Identify and select appropriate social development methods and tools for project social development
• Ensure compliance with project social development policies, procedures, and regulations
• Provide technical assistance and support to project staff and stakeholders on project social development issues
• Prepare and submit regular progress reports on project social development activities
• Assist the Project Specialist - Communications in drafting necessary communication material
• Contribute towards other tasks related to social development as required by the project

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• Post-graduate degree in Social Work/Development Studies/ Policy/ Social Sciences or related discipline from a reputed University/College
• Minimum five years’ experience in skills development/ TVET ecosystem in India
• In-depth understanding of domestic and international policies and projects in skills development/ TVET, and governance in the sector
• Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods and experience in conducting gender and socioeconomic studies
• Experience in community outreach, engagement, and mobilization; social work; working with institute management committees, or related fields
• Relevant experience in engaging with rural and urban communities, female beneficiaries, youth from tribal communities and local government institutions is critical
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
• Proficiency in English, Hindi and Marathi
