Job Description

• Develop and implement a communication strategy for the project
• Monitor and analyze current events and public and press opinion to be aware of changing stakeholders, sentiment, and developments  Ensure development of brand identity and positioning of the project
• Create and curate internal and external communication materials, such as brochures, presentations, and reports
• Ensure effective communication with stakeholders, including the government department, project team, beneficiaries, and partners
• Provide regular communication support to implementing agency including the department in (i) making communication-based inputs into the upstream reviews, (ii) helping task teams to implement the communication aspects of the operations they manage, and (iii) promote the DAKSH success stories and (iv) Branding of the project
• Work closely with the implementing agency and other unit, and project teams to organize – often across multiple teams – press briefings; major conferences and seminars; public, print media, or broadcast media appearances; and other communications-related
• Devise and manage the project's social media strategy and website
• Plan and budget for paid communication and marketing on third-party platforms and media
• Develop and implement a comprehensive Events and Public Relations program
• Organizing events, such as workshops and stakeholder meetings
• Develop and maintain a stakeholder engagement plan
• Provide communication training to project team members as needed

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• At least five years’ experience in marketing/ communication/PR/consulting
• Minimum two years’ experience with non-metro Markets
• Should have worked across geographies and cultures. Familiar with Maharashtra, and socio- economic complexities of the region
• Proficiency in English, Hindi and preferably Marathi (written and spoken)
