Job Summary:

Central TB Division is implementing Subnational Certification of TB free districts, an initiative of Ministry of Health & Family Welfare to encourage State/UT/districts to achieve the sustainable development goals related with TB. Under this collaboration, Piramal Swasthya is hiring short-term positions of Data Analyst for Sub-National Certification of Progress Towards TB Free Status based at ICMR-National Institute for Research in TB, Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

This position requires technical expertise, public health experience, clear understanding of databases and ability to extract data and perform various analyses.

This role will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

• Understand the District Level Annual Survey database and create data models to support monitoring of the same
• Routinely review community survey progress and survey quality using DLAS application dashboard and raw reports, prepare feedback to concerned State/district teams for requisite action
• Perform data extraction, cleansing, and normalization of data inconsistencies of SNC claim verification data submitted by the district verification teams online on web-application for secondary data analysis.
• Coordinate with respective verification teams for addressing data inconsistencies.
• Enable effective decision-making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling it into a digestible and actionable format.

Desirable Qualification & Experience

• Candidates should have a Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science, Statistics/Data Science/Data Analyst/Computer Application/Computer Science Engineering Discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
• Proven analytic skills, including mining, evaluation, analysis, and visualization, and Technical writing.
• · Candidates with experience in data analysis in large scale surveys will be preferred.
• · Proficient in using Microsoft Office
• · Proficient in data analysis using Microsoft Excel and statistical packages such as Stata, SPSS, R,
• · Ability to work in a diverse technical team.

Duration of posting:

• 3 months
• The incumbent should be able to join the duty station at the earliest

Compensation: - 30,000-33,000/- PM
