About the Organization

Sewa International began its journey amidst the chaos of the Latur earthquake in 1993. It was a moment of crisis that brought together a group of individuals united in their desire to alleviate suffering and lend a helping hand to those in need. This marked the genesis of Sewa International, born out of a shared commitment to serving humanity in times of distress.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct a full cycle recruitment process to attract top entry-level talent for the Sewa Fellow program from onboarding to Orientation.
• Construct individual professional development plans for each fellow and provide consistent training, mentorship and feedback.
• Collect feedback from Fellows, their managers, mentors, and other stakeholders for comprehensive Fellow assessments. Help Fellows create improvement plans based on this feedback.
• Design and implement training workshops, networking events, and team-building activities for the Fellow cohort.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• Age 35+
• Postgraduate / Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Psychology, Education or a related field.
• Total 10 years of work experience with 5 years in the development sector.
• Proficiency in English written & verbal communication.
• Proficiency in Hindi verbal communication.
• Empathy and strong interpersonal & communication skills; an active listener.
• Facilitation skills for workshops/events.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Willingness to travel across India.
