Digital Bharat Collaborative (DBC), a part of Piramal Foundation, supports the government to transform the public  healthcare system by building a robust digital delivery platform that ensures availability and accessibility of quality  healthcare for all. Through this, we seek to enhance experiences of citizens in accessing government health services at the  last mile. 

This role will be responsible for but not limited to the following:  

Work in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to design, develop and monitor SBCC strategies.

 Ensure that SBCC/IEC materials are produced, distributed and used efficiently by the respective project team members 

Support the development of innovative new approaches to SBCC, including use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT). 

Support design and implementation of SBCC related capacity building activities with CSR & PPP field team members. 

Document SBCC outcomes and design knowledge assets for dissemination. Identify forums for dissemination and lead these initiatives. 

Provide guidance and supervise staff to implement SBCC strategies and campaigns. This includes RFP preparation for content creation and oversee collateral development for traditional and digital media. 

Identify research needs to ensure evidence-based strategy development and monitor/ evaluate implementation.

Oversee preparation of SBCC component of project annual and quarterly workplans and prepare periodic reports on the achievements of SBCC plan implementation. 

Conduct field visits to project location (in consultation with Outreach team – PM & SPMs), to capture field  insights and support operation teams with documentation & communication activities. 

Develop articles & case studies, for CSR & PPP projects. Develop SOPs, advocacy and communication materials  for projects to create awareness among target audience/beneficiaries, influencers and stakeholders

Represent the organization in any working group, networks, forums or task forces involved in SBCC related work

Support in conducting training sessions of project team members on community mobilization, success  stories/case studies and other topics (CSR & PPP projects)

Follow up with cross functional teams and project teams (CSR & PPP) and develop content for monthly  newsletter (Swasthya Sanchar) and ensure timely sharing: Internally, DBC & other big bets of Piramal  Foundation. 

Qualification & Experience: 

Post-graduate degree/diploma in a relevant field (public health, communication, social sciences, development  studies, public relation or related field) 

5 years of experiences of developing SBCC strategy documents and writing high-level documents and reports in  English is required 

Proven experience of working in Social Sector (health, nutrition & others) with international NGOs, CSRs, UN  agencies preferred 

Should have advanced working knowledge of MS office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) 

Demonstrate command of the English language with a strong vocabulary and ability to write fluidly,  consistently and effectively 

Proven content writing, editing / proof reading experience 

Proven training experience will be an added advantage 

Ability to research, conceptualize and produce unique content 

Brainstorming and creating different content formats 


Critical thinking and problem solving 

A team player and having the ability to collaborate with multiple internal/eternal stakeholders (individuals and  teams) 

Sense of responsibility and ownership 

Ability to multi-task and manage different projects (CSR & PPP) within specific deadlines

Strong attention to detail, ability to produce error-free work and a through and meticulous approach to work

Strong desire to learn and gain an understanding of the social development sector
