Program & Business Manager

Brief Overview of the Role:

As a Program and Business Manager, you will at the intersection of STEM and Business. You will bring your STEM understanding to the team to help drive / manage STEM projects and also support the business leaders in Experifun to win new business. Your business role will include writing proposals, making presentations, working closely with potential clients inline with the guidance received from the Experifun leadership team. Your STEM part of the role will include managing different STEM programs for different clients, train the trainers, bringing innovative ideas / products / solutions to Experifun leadership to shape the same for potential clients. You will play a pivotal role in planning, executing, and managing different STEM Initiatives. Your responsibilities will encompass project planning, budgeting, team management, stakeholder engagement, and ensuring the program aligns with organizational objectives.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

Program Planning & Execution: ✓ Develop a comprehensive operational plan and goals for the successful delivery of the Education Initiatives. ✓ Ensure the timely execution of all project activities, adhering to organizational standards and contractual commitments. ✓ Analyze project risks and implement necessary changes to achieve project goals. ✓ Manage, monitor and report to program stakeholders including risks and potential mitigation

Business Management: ✓ Support the market development initiatives of Experifun leadership team by participating in writing proposals, creating right presentations and ensuring client responsiveness ✓ Maintain and manage client relationships, ensure timely deliverables and right communication to clients ✓ Bring innovative ideas, products and execution strategies for clients and market

Team Management & Contracting: ✓ Plan and execute the recruitment of qualified staff for effective project delivery. ✓ Manage the project team, providing leadership and support to achieve project goals. ✓ Oversee consultancy contracts, ensuring compliance with organizational and legal requirements.

Donor Engagement & Fundraising: ✓ Coordinate a system for regular feedback from donors and partners. ✓ Build strong professional relationships with donors and partners, contributing to continuous project funding.

 

Required Qualifications & Experience: ✓ Graduate or above with specialization in education or skill development into NGO sector themed social development projects or program management, or social entrepreneurship ✓ Minimum of 6 to 8 years of experience, with at least 2 years in program / project management and 1 year in business / client management. ✓ Excellent communication both in writing and speaking is required ✓ Demonstrated excellence in time management, multitasking, and problem-solving ✓ Open to travel to project locations for project review, monitoring and reporting the findings ✓ Open to work in a startup setup ✓ Good proposal and presentation making capability (both word and ppt)

Preferred candidates: • You will get preference if you have been an entrepreneur or been part of entrepreneurial setup • You will get preference if have experience in consulting, product and market strategy, fundraising • You will get preference if you have educational background either from prestigious institutions or from social / development institutions like XLRI (Social Studies), TFI, TISS, APU etc

Salary: Salary commensurate with experience.
