About the Program

The 21CC education Program empowers learners with critical life skills, social-emotional competencies, and leadership capabilities required to succeed in the 21st century. The program focuses on developing resilient, responsible, and future-ready young citizens through systemic engagement with schools, communities, and government stakeholders. Jhunjhunu serves as an innovation hub for the program, with implementation across 11 blocks and 1400+ Government Senior Secondary and Middle Schools.

The Senior Program Leader (SPL) will drive program excellence through fellow mentorship, stakeholder engagement, government collaboration, and quality implementation, while strengthening ownership within the education system.

Key Responsibilities

1.       Fellowship Leadership & Capacity Building

  • Mentor and coach Gandhi Fellows to strengthen facilitation, community engagement, stakeholder management, and leadership capabilities.
  • Facilitate reflective learning spaces, debrief, and field-based coaching sessions.
  • Guide fellows in designing and executing impactful Live Action Projects (LAPs) aligned with program outcomes.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and professional growth.

2. Program Delivery & Quality Assurance

  • Ensure high-quality implementation of program interventions across assigned schools.
  • Support and monitor classroom facilitation, Holistic development of schools and build the ownership among the key stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular field visits to assess program quality and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Capture and document best practices, innovations, challenges, and success stories.

3. Government & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with school leaders, teachers, and education functionaries.
  • Engage proactively with district and block-level officials, including the District Collector, CDEO, DEOs, ADPCs, and other key stakeholders.
  • Support compliance with government partnerships, MoUs, and district-level priorities.
  • Facilitate collaboration with Panchayati Raj Institutions, health departments, community leaders, and civil society partners.
  • Represent the program during reviews, exposure visits, and stakeholder engagements, effectively showcasing impact and evidence of change.

4. Governance and Reporting

  • Track fellow performance and development using structured assessment and capability frameworks.
  • Analyze field data and generate actionable insights to improve program effectiveness.
  • Prepare high-quality reports, case studies, presentations, and knowledge products for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to program reviews, strategic planning, and organizational learning processes.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Master’s degree in education, Social Work, Development Studies, Psychology, Public Policy, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in the education or development sector.
  • Proven experience in facilitation, governance, capacity building, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong communication, presentation & documentation skills in Hindi and English.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with government systems and community stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across district and state.

  • Experience education domain (Life skills, project-based Learning, Social emotional and ethical learning, Leading a team for education project)
  • Learnability, Program Management, Data analysis, Strategic thinking, problem-solving, adaptive leadership and resilience capabilities.
  • Mindset and ability to work in complex, ambiguous multi-stakeholder environments with high ownership and accountability.
