Position Overview:
The candidate will work in a team under the Aspirational Bharat Collaborative Program under the aegis of NITI Aayog. The position entails intense conceptualizing and designing the product and processes focused to Foundational Learning with emphasis on stakeholders and partner’s management, conduct/ implement joint research projects and contribute to the need-based activities.
Primary Responsibilities:
Product and Process Development: - Assess, design and co build (along with external stakeholders) curriculum to standards – national/ international level focus on foundational learning.
- Design product and process focusing on FLN for different stakeholders.
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to generate reports, presentations, and different documents based on needs.
- Conceptualize products and design innovative 21st Century skills-based frameworks to support future ready children.
- Develop curriculums and other need-based intervention products.
- Develop assessment tools and associated products as part of the assessment package.
- Analyze student assessment/test data, Research trends in instructional methods and pedagogy.
- Planning Designing and Facilitating Capability Building Workshop for internal and external Stakeholders.
- Research new innovations, technologies, practices from National and global context for product development and enhancement
- Design & execute campaigns to influence community behaviours on various issues customised to the local needs of the block, districts.
- Designing and executing School processes within school and community and facilitating Community Classes through Community resources
People Development: - Train stakeholders and others in new content or technology
- Managing the performance of Program Leaders in Program and Initiative Outcomes through Periodic Reviews.
- Plan, organize and conduct training conferences and workshops; Develop procedures for stakeholders to implement curriculum.
- Develop and institutionalize a safe environment (physically & emotionally) for both the children, staff and stakeholders.
- Collaboration with Internal Teams for supporting them by providing relevant Insights and Context for Product Development and enhancement.
Stakeholder Management: - Collaboration for product development-internal and external stakeholders/ organizations
- Collaborate with other CoE teams, Operations, support functions, etc. for need identification, co creation of products, implementation, facilitation support etc.
- Facilitate discussions and meetings with operations team on understanding need and executing products in field.
- Facilitate workshops for various tools of stakeholders’ professional development with internal and external stakeholders.
Required Attributes:
- Comfortable working independently and in team.
- Demonstrable experience in Product designing in FLN, facilitation, collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in designing and planning Capacity Building plans for stakeholders.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, such as flameworking, tool development, Proposal writing, documentation etc.
- Familiarity with Teams, Zoom and other virtual means of Communication platforms. Excellent quantitative, problem solving, analytical and statistical analysis skills, including advanced Microsoft Excel and Presentation skills.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE (example as below)
- Graduation in any stream is a must. Master’s degree is preferred.
- 8+ years’ experience in working with government in Education or development sector.
- Expertise in managing dynamic teams of people is an added advantage.
- Good Written and Oral communication in Hindi and English is a must.
- Proficiency in any native language will be an added benefit.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE (example as below) Mandatory
- Experience in implementing andragogy/adult-education/child-centric learning/ conducting training/ design assessment.
- Confident communicator, ability to dialogue professionally and diplomatically on complex issues with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to convert abstract ideas and concepts into concrete curriculum framework and content with attention to stakeholder’s training and development needs.
- Capacity for innovation, creative thought, and strategic thinking.
- Ability to self-motivate, work independently, flexibly and with minimal supervision.
- Experience of managing new project/product implementation within the organization as well as with external clients/stakeholders
- Affinity to working with cross-functional groups, while balancing project and organizational priorities.
- Capability to build and manage networks with directors of organizations working in the education sector or officials of similar cadre at the state level.
- Readiness to learn, un-learn and re-learn. Comfort with working on solving highly complex problems. Adaptability to a dynamic work environment
