Project Assistant – Monitoring & Social Protection

Job Responsibilities
- Support in developing the overall framework for the physical and process monitoring of project activities, including social protection programmes.
- Assist in developing monthly, quarterly, six monthly and yearly reporting formats on the progress of activities as per the approved work plan.
- Support in reviewing monitoring reports, analyse these reports in terms of problems and actions needed as well as for impact evaluation and to identify the causes of potential bottlenecks in project implementation.
- Keep a tab, understanding and support in accessing and sharing the technology led information with a range of stakeholders including social protection programmes.
- Support to ensure the mid-term and final evaluation and assessment of the project. Support Social protection and skill development.
- Carry out any other work assigned by the Project Officer- Monitoring, Reporting & Compliance and Monitoring and Evaluation Associate (PWM Project) related to the project.
Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience
- High School OR Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Social Sciences, Rural Development, development studies or related field is desirable.
Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years (post High School) OR 2 years (post Bachelor’s) of project coordination, monitoring and data management experience is required at the state or national level.
Required skills
- Experience in the usage of computers (IT tools) and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc.).
- Good data analytical, communication, interpersonal and presentation skills on the impacts from project.
Desired skills
- Documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Experience of working in waste management sector including social protection programmes is preferred.
- Work experience with International NGO/UN/Development sector will be asset.
Required Language(s)
- Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English and Hindi is essential.
