Job Description

Title of the Project “Study on the Status, Habitat and conservation of Indian grey wolves and associated carnivores at Kappathagudda WLS and other forest in Gadag Division”

Extensive status and population surveys for Indian Wolf and other species in arid landscapes

Job Responsibilities

• Will be involved with a team in regular field data collection, database generation for geo-spatial modelling and report writing. Assist Project Associate and PIs for implementing project mandate.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• Master’s degree in Natural or Agricultural Science/MVSc or bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized University or equivalent.

Desirable Qualification(s)

• Good skills in analysis of data in Occupancy, Distance and other multivariate analysis Good skills in spatial analysis of data with GIS Excellent writing skills Knowledge of the local language will be an added advantage

Salary

Rs. 31,000/- plus HRA
