Job Description

Responsibilities
Programme Implementation and Technical support:
- Design, conduct and analyse social surveys to assess the perceptions of various stakeholders towards wildlife and conservation interventions.
- Document the traditional-ecological knowledge, resource management systems and institutions.
- Develop a strategy to engage, involve and partner with communities, community institutions and key stakeholders in conservation planning and implementation.
- Assist with program coordination, technical reporting and report writing.
- Liaison with stakeholders including Govt. department (s), Institutions(s), NGOs and local community members for planning and implementation of project activities in the landscape.
Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience
- M.A. (Sociology, Social work, Anthropology, etc.)/M.Sc. (Environmental science, Conservation biology, etc.
- 2-4 years of hands-on experience is desirable.
