Essential Qualifications

• Ph.D/Post Graduate/M.Phil in Economics, Management, Commerce, Environmental
• Studies, IT Engineering, Sustainability Studies, Public Policy, Social Sciences, Rural
• Development, or a related discipline from a recognized university with minimum of 55%
• marks.
• Proficiency in written & spoken Dogri/Kashmiri/Hindi languages is preferred.
• Good academic record and strong analytical, research, and report-writing skills.
• Proficiency in data collection, survey methods, statistical analysis, and use of MS Office/SPSS/R/Stata or similar software.

Desirable Qualifications

• Experience in research related to rural governance, Panchayati Raj Institutions, 5G technology, innovation ecosystems, or regional development.
• Familiarity with the Panchayati raj institutions, rural governance and socio-economic conditions of Jammu & Kashmir.
• Experience in field surveys, stakeholder interviews, and preparation of policy reports/research publications.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Conduct literature review and secondary data collection.
• Assist in designing survey instruments and research methodology.
• Undertake field visits and stakeholder consultations across Jammu & Kashmir.
• Collect, compile, and analyse quantitative and qualitative data.
• Prepare research reports, policy briefs, presentations, and publications.
• Assist the Principal Investigator in project management and dissemination activities.

General Terms for the position:

• Position is purely temporary and project based for total duration of 12 months or co- terminus with the project.
• Decision of the Selection Committee will be final and binding.
• Selected candidate must be ready to join immediately.

• 30 years

Emoluments :

• Rs. 30,000/- per month (Consolidated)

Duration :

• 12 Months or co-terminus with the project
