Senior Program Leader (SPL) – Jhunjhunu District

Location: Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan

About the Program

The 21st Century Education Program empowers learners with critical life skills, social-emotional competencies, ethical values, leadership, and future-ready skills through systemic transformation of government schools. Jhunjhunu serves as an innovation district implementing interventions across 1,400+ schools. The Senior Program Leader drives implementation excellence, government ownership, product innovation, donor engagement, and strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

Program implementation & Quality management

• Lead high-quality implementation of interventions across assigned geographies.
• Develop implementation strategies and monitor quality through field visits.
• Drive continuous improvement and ensure achievement of program milestones.

People development

• Mentor Gandhi Fellows and Program Leaders.
• Facilitate learning spaces, coaching sessions, and reflective practices.
• Strengthening leadership, accountability, and ownership of Fellows
• Designing and facilitation workshops and training of principals and teachers

Government Partnership & System Strengthening

• Build the narrative of 21^st CC education in the district and create a cader of program ambassadors
• Build relationships with district and block education officials.
• Support integration of interventions into government systems.
• Represent the organization in reviews and forums.

21st Century Education Product Development

• Lead design, piloting, and scaling of educational products.
• Develop teacher toolkits, facilitator guides, student resources, and assessment frameworks.
• Use field feedback to continuously improve products.

Donor Engagement & Exposure Visit Facilitation

• Plan and facilitate donor, CSR, and government exposure visits.
• Prepare presentations, impact stories, and field itineraries.
• Showcase program outcomes and innovations.

Partnership Development

• Build partnerships with NGOs, CSR organizations, universities, and government institutions.
• Support collaboration, proposal development, and networking.

Governance, Documentation & Knowledge Management

• Analyze data and prepare reports, dashboards, case studies, and knowledge products.
• Support organizational learning and strategic planning.

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field.
• 5–7 years of experience in education/development sector
• Strong government and stakeholder engagement experience.
• Excellent Hindi and English communication.
• Willingness to travel extensively.
